We’re Hiring! 👁️

Jasper Eye Associates is looking for a friendly and motivated Optometric Technician to join our team!

Job duties include:
• Pre-testing patients before their eye exam (visual acuity, eye pressure, etc.)
• Assisting with contact lens fittings
• Performing glaucoma and macular testing
• Ordering contact lenses
• Sending prescriptions to pharmacies
• Pulling and filing some vision insurance
• Triaging patients based on exam needs
• Stocking exam rooms as needed

We’re a busy, patient-focused office and are looking for someone who enjoys working with people and being part of a team. Experience in eye care or a medical office is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person!

Due to current weather conditions and unsafe road conditions, Jasper Eye will be closed tomorrow (January 26) for the safety of our patients and staff.

We have reached out to patients who were scheduled for tomorrow and will be working to get everyone rescheduled as soon as possible.

We are closely monitoring the incoming winter weather and potential ice storm.

If we do need to close next week, our phone system will be updated with a voicemail message reflecting the closure, and we will contact patients with scheduled appointments to reschedule on our next business day.

WE'RE HIRING!
Our team is growing, and we're looking for a friendly, motivated individual to join us as an office assistant! The position is a great opportunity to get hands-on experience in the eye care field. You'll work closely with our opticans and technicians, assisting with day-to-day tasks, helping patients, and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.
- Previous experience is a plus but is not required, we are happy to train the right person!
- Full time postition (Monday-Friday)
- PTO and bonus incentives after 90 days
