EASI - Equines Assisting Special Individuals EASI is a part of Northwest Alabama Mental Health Center.

EASI's mission is to provide safe and effective therapeutic horse related activities for people with mental illness and developmental disabilities in Walker County and the surrounding areas.

Meet Maggie, our Bay Roan quarter horse👋

Before coming to EASI, Maggie was a trail horse🤠

💼 She started her career with us in April of 2025

🎂 Maggie is 13 years old

😋 Favorite treats: Peppermints and popsicles! (but keep a watch on bowls of chili👀)

Maggie excels at being very friendly with clients and having a very calm demeanor and presence (and is undoubtedly hoping for some snacks).

All of our animals here at EASI have their very own personalities, are amazing with our clients and we just love them to bits! (pun intended 😉) Thank you EASI equines for your years of helping others 🫶
