CarDon Senior Living At Brookside Village, our focus is on family and a comfortable, home-like atmosphere.

You will find evidence of this caring attitude in all our programs from assisted living to our progressive rehabilitation services and the stability and consistency of our skilled nursing program. Our team includes licensed nurses, certified nursing assistants and licensed specialists in speech, occupational and physical therapies.

WHAT’S IN THE BOWL?!

Some were brave enough to play, some were a little scared but gave it a try, and others decided to sit this one out!

We had Red Hots, orange slices, garlic, dried onions, mini marshmallows, large olives, and Goober Jelly! There were plenty of surprises to confuse everyone, and BOY, did we have them guessing!

Almost everyone had the SAME reaction to the last item… GOOBER JELLY! 🤢

The reaction? “EWWWWWW!”

We sure had some laughs with this one! You never know what you’re going to find the employees playing at Brookside to take a break from the daily grind! ❤️

Please join us in congratulating our September Heart of CarDon Award winner, Melissa Main!

Melissa takes the time to connect with each resident and truly cares about making sure they feel valued, heard, and cared for. She takes the time to listen, brings positivity to the team, and is a wonderful asset to Brookside. We are so grateful for the compassion and dedication she brings to our residents each day. Congratulations, Melissa! You are so deserving of this recognition!

Brinley brings the BEST attitude to Brookside! She loves joking with residents and staff and is always ready to put a smile on everyone's face. She thinks quickly on her feet and knows how to handle even the most challenging situations. Families and staff know they can count on her, and she consistently comes through when it matters most. We are so lucky to have you on our team, Brinley! Thank you for all you do and for being such a bright light at Brookside!

Just what our employees wanted on a nice, crisp fall day! It was a “make them your way” kind of day, with everyone creating their own delicious caramel apple masterpiece.

So many toppings, so many combinations, and LOTS of happy employees!

We are so proud to share that one of our residents, Robert, had the incredible opportunity to participate in an Honor Flight to Washington, D.C. last Saturday.

Robert shared that he had an enjoyable and memorable time and was truly happy to have been able to make the trip. What a special experience and a wonderful way to honor the service and sacrifices of our veterans. ❤️🇺🇸
