What better way to kick off Strassenfest week than our very own German bar for our residents and staff to enjoy!🇩🇪

The bar included:
Hot pretzel with cheese
Kraut balls with mustard sauce
Sauerbrauten
Mashed potatoes
Homemade dressing
Bratwurst with kraut
Green beans
German potato salad
Red cabbage
Apple streudel
German chocolate cake

Legally Blonde the Musical was an entertaining way to spend our Sunday afternoon!

One of our servers, Colin, actually starred in the play so we made sure to take a group picture in congratulating him!🎭❤️

We introduced our residents to “dirty sodas” and hosted a Christmas in July themed dirty soda bar this afternoon!❤️💚

They each got to choose a favorite flavor to enjoy on this hot summer day!🍹

There’s nothing quite like bonding over dozens of ears of corn while reminiscing about the good ole days!🌽

We shucked corn this afternoon, cooked it up, and enjoyed it with some butter, salt, and pepper.

Special thanks goes to Emily and Jeff (our BOM and Maintenance Director) for the donation and to the restaurant staff for cooking it up for us!

We enjoyed the beautiful display of quilts at the Thyen-Clark Cultural Center yesterday created by the Patoka Valley Quilters Guild!

Quilting is an art that many love to admire, but not everyone can do. These ladies sure loved browsing these creative pieces yesterday afternoon!❤️
