To say I was floored is an understatement. I love helping people. It’s fun. But sometimes you don’t realize how far-reaching the effects are. A mother dropped this off at my office today and there were tears in my eyes when I read her note. She had struggled with her baby’s latch with breastfeeding. She brought her baby to my office and it was a simple fix. I gently and specifically adjusted her baby’s palate to improve the latch and allow for better suction. This helped them continue with their breastfeeding journey.

I was not brought to this profession by accident. I truly believe it is my calling. And on days like this I am reminded of how amazing this work is. I move the bone back to where it is supposed to be, but the body does the rest. When the body functions the way it was designed to, people don’t just feel better… they’re able to live more fully, and truly thrive.
