🌟 EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT of the WEEK: SUMMER HILL 🌟

It’s time to put the spotlight on Summer Hill — although Summer may be wondering why we’re making this much noise about her because she’s usually one of the quietest ones in the department! 😂💙
Summer has been with RPS since 2023 and is a Billing Insurance Specialist on our Billing Team. She is a great asset to our department, always working hard and quietly getting things done. Honestly, there are days we barely know she’s here...
Until it’s time for lunch. 😂🍔
Then we can ALWAYS count on Summer! On our busiest days, when everyone has completely lost track of time, she’s the first one to remind us, “Are we eating?” Somebody has to keep this department on schedule, and Summer has graciously accepted that responsibility. 😂 We joke about it all the time, but we really would work straight through lunch without her!
When she’s not keeping the Billing Team working AND fed, Summer is busy being the true definition of a boy mom! 💙 She and her husband, Ben, have been married since 2016 10 years this year! And together they have three perfect boys: Bryson, Tate, and their new addition baby Hayes, our little billing baby!
And when we say boy mom, we mean BOY MOM. To be honest, we think the world could use more mommas like her! Summer spends countless hours at school events, practices, games, and everything else her boys have going on. She’s their biggest cheerleader, their chauffeur, and she’ll even head out hunting with them! 🦌💙 If her boys are doing it, you can bet Mom isn’t too far behind.
Between raising three boys, keeping up with sports and school, working hard at RPS, and making sure her coworkers remember basic necessities like EATING LUNCH, Summer definitely keeps life interesting! 😂
We are so thankful to have Summer as part of our RPS family. She may be quiet, but she is such an important part of our team, and RPS is very proud to have her as part of our administrative team.
Help us show our favorite boy mom (and unofficial Billing Department lunch coordinator 😂) some love! 💙👏

🏆 Outstanding Patient Care Recognition 🏆

Regional Paramedics is proud to recognize Walker County Paramedic, Kamee Morgan, and EMT, Noah Wilson, for receiving the Excellence in Patient Care Award from Orlando Health Systems.

Kamee and Noah were recognized for their exceptional care of a stroke patient. Their rapid recognition of the signs and symptoms of stroke, prompt treatment, and early notification to the Trauma Communications Center set into motion a coordinated response that made all the difference.

Because of their quick actions, the patient was taken to surgery for a thrombectomy (blood clot removal) just 71 minutes after they made the notification. This is an incredible achievement where every minute matters.

We are incredibly proud to have them representing Regional Paramedics and serving our communities.

Please join us in congratulating Kamee Morgan and Noah Wilson on this well-deserved honor! 👏

🌟🌟Employee Spotlight of the Week🌟🌟

This week, our focus is on David Price!

David has been a valued member of our RPS family for almost six years. He began his journey with us in the BLS division and shortly after transferred to the ALS division here in St. Clair County. David truly has a servant's heart and is the first person to jump in and help. We are so blessed to have him.

David is a devoted family man. He's a wonderful father and an even prouder papa to his grandchildren. He is also engaged to his wonderful fiancée, Ashley.

Outside of work David dabbles in wrestling, loves to fish, and does whatever his grandbabies ask of him.

David is currently finishing up paramedic school at RTI.

Thank you, David, for your service and dedication to helping your community.

This week’s Employee Spotlight shines on Megan Isbell from South Group!
Megan has been a part of the RPS family since February 2009. She started her career with us as an EMT Driver and, through hard work and dedication, advanced through the ranks to become a Paramedic. Over the years, she has served in nearly every coverage area within RPS and has made a lasting impact everywhere she’s worked.
If you ask her coworkers to describe Megan, one thing you’ll hear over and over is that she always puts others before herself. Whether she’s helping a patient, supporting a partner, or mentoring a newer provider, Megan is the type of person who shows up when people need her.
Outside of work, Megan enjoys day trips to Tennessee, relaxing beach vacations, and planning adventures with family and friends. She’s currently looking forward to a deep-sea fishing trip at the end of July to celebrate her birthday. Many of the outings she’s organized over the years have created unforgettable memories for her chosen family, and she also treasures the time she spends with her family at home.
As if staying busy with RPS wasn’t enough, Megan also works as a Paramedic in the Emergency Department at Baptist Health Princeton while pursuing her nursing degree. She is a lifelong learner who is constantly expanding her knowledge and sharing what she learns with those around her.
Thank you, Megan, for your dedication to your patients, your coworkers, and the communities you serve. We are proud to have you as part of the RPS family!
