If you’ve been running around town feeling like Peter Parker losing his powers because your HRT patch prescription is stuck in backorder limbo, you are NOT crazy. The nationwide shortage is real, and the struggle is exhausting.

Drop a 🕷️ in the comments if you’ve had to call 4 different pharmacies this week just to get your HRT filled!

🤰🏼💕 Estrogen, progesterone, cortisol, oxytocin, thyroid… every single one of them is shifting under the surface of every mood swing, wave of calm, or 3am spiral. Here are some natural things I’m leaning on to support myself through it 🌸

Shout out to Lisa Case Specific Nutrition for helping to keep me grounded in fueling myself properly while feeling super sick this entire pregnancy.

A gentle reminder: if your mood ever feels like more than “just hormones,” please tell your provider. Perinatal mood disorders are common, treatable, and never a reflection of you as a mom.

The team at Authentic Perspectives Psychological & Consulting Services, LLC has the training to support women in all walks of life.

💗National Maternal Mental Health Hotline: Call or text 1-833-852-6262

💗Postpartum Support International (PSI) HelpLine: Call 1-800-944-4773 or text “HELP” to 800-944-4773

Tired all the time. Always cold. Brain fog that won’t lift. Constipation, dry skin, hair that’s thinning.

These are classic signs of an underactive thyroid — but here’s something that often gets missed: your iron levels (specifically ferritin) directly affect thyroid function. Your body needs iron to produce thyroid hormone and convert it into its active form. Low ferritin can cause thyroid-like symptoms on its own, or make an existing thyroid issue feel worse — even when your thyroid labs look “normal.”

That’s why I don’t just check one number in isolation. The full picture matters.
