After battling knee pain since the beginning of 2026, Michael Browning of Dandridge underwent a total knee replacement in March. During his recovery, he was determined to get back to his lifelong passion: his 1957 Chevrolet.

Thanks to the personalized care and dedication of PT, Martha Startup at Tennova Physical Therapy in Dandridge, he regained his strength, mobility, and confidence. Today, Michael is out of the clinic and back in the garage, comfortably bending, lifting, and putting the finishing touches on his classic car.

He recently brought his car by the office to show his rehab team, and his shirt says it all...."I'll be in the garage".

North Knoxville Medical Center's new linear accelerator (LINAC) brings advanced cancer treatment capabilities for the communities we proudly serve.

Radiation Oncologist Srinivas Boppana, M.D., says this advanced technology is the first of its kind in the entire Southeast region, allowing skilled treatment for patients diagnosed with breast, prostate and lung cancers as well as brain and spinal tumors.

For cancer patients and families across East Tennessee, the availability of this system provides access to radiation therapy without having to travel outside the region for care.

No mater the time of day or night, Tennova Turkey Creek Medical Center is here for you and your loved ones when precious seconds matter. Later this month, we will be expanding our Emergency Department to more than 20 beds, doubling our current size.

Our ED Medical Director John Pope, M.D., says space and room additions put the needs of our community first. From ease of registration to enhanced patient flow and an expanded waiting area, many improvements are ready for those we serve during all sorts of emergency situations.

Our Tennova Turkey Creek Medical Center emergency department expansion will be complete and fully operational in mid July. As the countdown begins, our physicians and clinicians are thrilled to offer expanded services with a space addition that doubles our current capacity for those needing emergency care.

Tennova Healthcare CEO Tony Benton says the expansion strengthens our robust Level III trauma program, efficiently helping those in greatest need. Our dedicated Turkey Creek Medical Center team is consistently focused on timely care, low wait times (under 30 minutes to see a physician) and seamless registration.

The excitement is building at Tennova Turkey Creek Medical Center as our Emergency Department expands to 20 rooms, with more than 3,000 square feet of additional treatment space.

Chief Operating Officer Joseph Bullen and Chief Nursing Officer Travis Simmons say the $3 million expansion project will be complete next month, greatly enhancing our already robust Level III Trauma program.

Last year alone, we provided emergency care for more than 22,000 patients, with more than 1,500 of those metro Knoxville area residents requiring specialized trauma care. Reduced wait times and a seamless patient experience will always be our focus.
