Happy 19th birthday to the bestest office cat in mid-Missouri, Chewie! He loves to supervise and tell us what to do. He makes sure that we stay in line by demanding treats and sink water or requesting to play. I mean, who can deny this guy’s request!

Fireworks are scary for our furry friends.
Here's how to keep them calm & safe:
🐾 Keep your pets indoors during prime showtimes, typically around sunset
🐾 Create a safe, quiet space with comforting items and provide engaging puzzles and distractions
🐾 Use calming products, such as calming pheromones, calming music or white noise, and compression wraps
🐾 If the calming products do not help, contact your primary veterinarian for anti-anxiety medication
🐾 Stay close and offer gentle comfort
🐾 Keep windows and curtains closed
🐾 If your pet escapes during the fireworks, contact your local animal shelters, post on your local social media community pages, and check that your pet's microchip registration is current. Bring a recent photo when searching.
