* Until 230 AM CDT.

* At 133 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from
10 miles south of Tipton to 30 miles southwest of High Point, or
along a line from 10 miles south of Tipton to 39 miles south of
Tipton, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and small hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* This severe thunderstorm will be near...
High Point around 155 AM CDT.

Other locations impacted by the severe thunderstorm include Latham,
Enon, Eugene and Osage Bend.
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. These storms are capable of producing damaging winds.

Jeff City/Cole County Urgent Announcement: Heavy, isolated rainfall has created an elevated risk of flash flooding across our area. Never attempt to drive through flooded roadways. The depth of the water and the condition of the road underneath may not be visible, and just a small amount of moving water can sweep a vehicle away. Turn Around, Don't Drown. Your destination can wait, your safety can't. Please use caution, slow down during heavy rain, and report hazardous conditions when it is safe to do so.
