At Wellstone, we are grateful for our wonderful partnership with WAGS Pet Therapy and for our favorite four-legged visitor, Sonny!

Community connection and support are at the heart of what we do. 🤍

Wellstone Community Liaison, Lindsey and Director of Business Development, Katelyn have had the opportunity to help at the Survivors of Su***de booth at the Kentucky State Fair, sharing resources and connecting with members of the community throughout the fair.

Support is available for those who have lost someone to su***de, as well as for individuals and families who may be struggling with their own mental or behavioral health needs. Knowing where to turn for help can make a meaningful difference.

🎉 Please join us in congratulating Lindsey Lowe on her promotion to Executive Director of Clinical & Outpatient Services at Wellstone Regional Hospital!

Since joining Wellstone as our Director of Outpatient Services, Lindsey has made a tremendous impact through her leadership, compassion and commitment to providing high-quality behavioral health care. With more than 10 years of experience working with individuals, groups, couples, families and children, Lindsey brings extensive experience in trauma therapy, substance use treatment and the development of intensive outpatient programs for co-occurring disorders.

In her expanded role, Lindsey will continue to lead and strengthen Wellstone’s clinical and outpatient services while supporting the growth and development of our teams.

Wellstone CEO Michael Philippone shared, “Lindsey has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership, compassion, and a deep commitment to both her patients and her teams. We are proud to announce Michael Philippone as Chief Executive Officer of Wellstone Regional Hospital!

Michael joined Wellstone’s leadership team as Chief Operating Officer in February 2026 and has quickly become an integral part of our hospital. During his time as COO, he has demonstrated a strong commitment to supporting our patients, staff, community partners, and the continued growth of our services.

Michael brings extensive experience in behavioral healthcare and hospital operations to his new role. Prior to joining UHS, he served as Associate Administrator for HCA Healthcare’s Behavioral Health Service Line in the Capital Division, where he led key initiatives and departments across multiple health systems. He also previously served as Chief Operating Officer at The Brook KMI, further strengthening his experience in behavioral health leadership and hospital operations.

With his leadership experience, operational knowledge, and dedication to behavioral healthcare, Michael will continue to lead Wellstone forward as we strengthen our programs and serve the needs of our community.
