Macon, Georgia - Laurie Ann Brack Floyd, 55, of Carrick Way, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2026, at her residence.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Walnut Creek Baptist Church. Darla Moughon and Norm Yukers will officiate.

Laurie was born in Dublin. She was a graduate of Georgia College & State University, where she earned a degree in accounting. Laurie devoted 33 years to Atrium Health Navicent, serving as the Chief Financial Officer of Rural Health.

Outside of her professional career, Laurie was a devoted wife and cherished her family deeply, especially her role as “Lolly” to her beloved grandchildren. She was an avid pursuer of personal fitness and a dedicated Pilates student. Laurie was also a member of Ingleside Baptist Church.

She is survived by her loving husband, Stephen Floyd; her sons, Blayne (Kayla) Floyd and Carter (Elizabeth) Floyd; her parents, Lauren M. Brack and Rebecca Tripp “Becky” Brack; her brother, Jamie (Kelly) Brack; and her treasured grandchildren, Hawkins Floyd, Brady Floyd, and Charlotte Floyd. One niece and one nephew.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Laurie’s memory to the Winship Cancer Institute Clinical Trials Fund of Emory University, 36 Linden Ave. NE, Atlanta, GA 30308, or online at Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University.

Services will be private.

Mr. Morris was born in Atlanta, GA, the son of the late Clinton Lee Morris and Annie Lee Smith Morris. He was preceded in death by his brother Ronald Morris and his sisters, Sandra Tiner Morris and Susan Payne. Larry was a former Plumber with Todd Young Plumbing. He was a Christian.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Ann Whigham Morris. His son, David P. Morris. His daughter, Dawn M. Green. His brother, David Morris. His six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

JEFFERSONVILLE, GA - M. Greg Swearingane, 58, of Hamlin-Floyd Road, passed away on Friday, May 22, 2026, in Macon.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Reece Funeral Home in Jeffersonville, Georgia. Visitation with the family will begin at 1:00 PM prior to the service and will continue immediately afterward.

Greg was born in Forsyth, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his parents, James T. Swearingane and Barbara Joan Long Bell; his brother, Shon Bell; his sister, Stacey Fleener; and his grandparents.

He had resided in Twiggs County for the past 33 years, having moved there from Crawford County. Greg was a Methodist and was a proud veteran of the United States Army, serving during Desert Storm.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 32 years, Tracy Swearingane; his sons, Justin Swearingane and Cory (Rachel) Swearingane; and his siblings, Tiffany (Daryl) Leslie, Robby (Sarah) Swearingane, David (Jenny) Bell, and Selena Harris. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

DRY BRANCH, GA - Beverly Jean Stillman Craig, 67, of Buck Creek Rd., passed away Tuesday May 19, 2026 at her residence.

A Celebration of Beverly’s Life will be held Wednesday May 27, 2026 at 2:00PM at Reece Funeral Home in Jeffersonville, GA.

Beverly was born in Buffalo, New York, the daughter of the late Irving Leon Stillman and Lois Harriet Buzzard Stillman. She was a Trade Show Manager for R.K. Shows. Mrs. Beverly Craig, also affectionately known as Miss Bambi, was deeply loved by her family and friends, she was a true example of selflessness to everyone who knew her. She always put the needs of others above her own.
She was hardworking and her attention to detail and genuine concern for her job, and the people it encompassed caused her to be loved by the many she worked with and that came to know her from the gunshows, the music venues, the musicians and bands she met. If she could help in any way, she would.

She loved her job as a trade show manager and event coordinator, it allowed her to meet people from all over the country, even people from other countries. Miss Bambi enjoyed doing what she could to make shows as enjoyable as possible for both the vendors and the public. The golden rule was very important to her, treat others the way you wanted to be treated.

“Pursuing excellence in all you do”, was a personal motto of hers, also keeping in mind that you might be the only Bible someone else sees.

Survivors include her husband, John C. Craig. Her children, J.C. Craig, Jr., Ian L Craig, Austin M. Craig, Samuel E. Craig, Kirstin L. Craig, Natalie A Craig, Laurel A. Craig, and Elyssa R. Craig. Her sister, Carol Louise Manning.

Thomas was born in Macon, GA. He was preceded in death by his Grandmother Marjorie Simpson, his Grandfather Billy Joe Grant and Grandparents Sharon and James Durden. His Great Grandparents Cozette and S.J. Robinson . Thomas enjoyed gaming and fishing and had a special bond/love with his son. He attended Mount Zion Baptist Church in Danville, GA.

Survivors include his parents Jonathan and Christie Lindsey Woodcock. His Fiance’ Kendal Entrekin. His son J.T. Thornton. His daughter Alliyah McCoy. His brother Mikey Obarr. His sisters Heaven (Chase) Thornton and Makayla (Gauge) Woodcock. Nephew River Braswell and several Aunts and Uncles. Thomas had lots of friends that he loved like brothers.

Allentown, GA - Dora Mae Floyd, age 94, passed away on May 11, 2026 in Allentown, GA.

She was born on September 12, 1931 to the late Harvey Levi Sauls and Mina Mae Sauls. Dora Mae spent most of her life in Allentown, Georgia.

Dora Mae dedicated 28 years of service at Robins Air Force Base, where she worked as a Supervisor until her retirement. She loved God and her family deeply, and her faith and devotion were evident in the way she lived her life.

She was the widow of the late James Ray (Jimmy) Floyd, Sr and was preceded in death by her siblings, Clyde Sauls, Pelton Sauls, Annie Bell Sauls Stone, Lavera Sauls Rickerson, Hazel Sauls Fowler, and Velma Lee Sauls Hasty.

Dora Mae leaves behind a loving family who will cherish her memory: her children, Gail (Carl) Bowman of Danville, GA; Ray (Gail) Floyd of Danville, GA; and Darrell (Samantha) Floyd of Danville, GA. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Scott Bowman, Brandi (Brice) Rozier, Tiffany (James) Lamb, Anna Floyd, Brandon Floyd, and Lucas Floyd; great-grandchildren, Kenna Bowman, Dylan Bowman, Briley Rozier, Bailey Rozier, Brayley Floyd, Nolan Lamb and Lexi Lamb.

A devoted member of Danville Methodist Church, Dora found joy in simple pleasures. She loved God, fishing, going to the lake, beach, and, above all, spending time with her family.

The family would also like to express their heartfelt love and gratitude to her devoted caregivers, Doris Blackshear and Vetrina Fountain, along with the amazing staff at Georgia Hospice Care, for the compassionate care, kindness, and support they provided to Dora over the years.

Dora will be laid to rest at Cool Springs Church in Danville, GA on Thursday, May 14, 2026. Visitation for family and friends will take place at 2:00 p.m., followed by a service inside Cool Springs Church at 3:00 p.m. and then a graveside service at Cool Springs Cemetery to celebrate her life. All friends and family are invited to attend.

Family and friends are welcome to gather or stop by the home of Carl and Gail Bowman at 2318 Hwy 112 Danville, GA to visit with the family and pay their respects during this time.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Becky was born in Macon, GA, the daughter of the late Steven C. “Steve” Hester. She was a member of Stone Creek Baptist Church and had a deep love for her church and church family. Most of all she loved serving her Lord. She was a friend to all.

Survivors include her husband, Rodger D***s. Her mother, Barbara Kitchens Hester. Her brothers, Greg Hester and Andy Hester. Her niece, Sarah Jean Hester. Her Aunts, Uncles, and cousins also survive.
