October is AAC Awareness Month, and PRC-Saltillo is celebrating with 50% off their AAC apps through this Wednesday, Oct. 14!

Sometimes the best reset has nothing to do with checking things off your to-do list. ❤️

We took a little break today to visit our neighbors at the GT Connections, where we got to see Penny & Pepper, the Highland cows, and enjoy some music from a Scottish bagpiper! 🐮🎶🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

It was a simple morning, but such a good reminder of the importance of leisure, social connection, and making space for joy. Time spent together, enjoying music, getting outside, a little pause, and just being present can be just the reset you need.

Progress starts with trust, and Jen and Carleigh have built a connection with this family that makes every session count. When a child feels safe and supported, the real work can happen.

This week we hosted a 4-day Level One Theraplay and Marschak Interaction Method training, led by Theraplay trainer and supervisor Cindy Perkins. 🧡

Sixteen clinicians from Michigan and Indiana joined us, including our own OT, Hannah. She joins Molly and three other CCD staff who are already Theraplay trained.

We take continuing education seriously, because the families we serve deserve care rooted in strong training and real relationships.

Thank you, Cindy, and thank you to the kindest group of clinicians!
