As America celebrates its 250th birthday, we’re proud to celebrate the spirit of innovation, service, and community that defines our nation. We also take this opportunity to reflect on the debt we owe our Founders and all the Men and Women in uniform who sacrificed for our shared history and those who are still defending our Freedom today.

Here in Oklahoma, we are honored to care for the vision of generations of families — helping our patients see the moments that matter most. At OMEG, we believe sight is more than vision alone. It’s the ability to witness milestones, serve others, build communities, and appreciate the beauty around us every day. As we celebrate 250 years of freedom, we are very grateful we have the opportunity to continue advancing eye care through compassion, technology, and dedication to our patients.

Keep your 4th of July safe and fun. Wear safety goggles, avoid crowded areas with a lot of people lighting fireworks at once, or even better - leave it to the professionals and attend a public show!! OMEG would like to remind everyone that 19% of firework related injuries involve the eyes!

Dr Chamberlain was the first surgeon in Oklahoma to implant the TECNIS PureSee™ IOL. PureSee is an FDA-approved, non-diffractive, extended depth of focus (EDOF) lens designed for cataract patients to provide excellent distance and intermediate vision, with functional near vision and low dysphotopsia (glare/halos). It offers, according to studies and a presentation at ASCRS 2026, a "monofocal-like" visual quality while providing improved intermediate acuity compared to a standard monofocal lens. We are excited to add this lens to the offerings at OMEG!
