Little Milestone For Small Discoveries We are an INCLUSIVE environment dedicated to providing therapy and education to typical and neurodiverse children.

Owned and operated by a registered and licensed Occupational Therapist and Licensed Elementary School Teacher and Preschool Owner. Our center is geared toward ensuring all children exceed their developmental milestones. Little Milestones for Small Discoveries adheres to a holistic approach of early childhood and family education. When we expose children to different environments and various learni

ng experiences, we allow them to explore their self-awareness and gain a sense of the world around them. We hope to equip our children with the skills they need so that they are fully prepared for the next stage of their young lives. Our teaching and therapeutic approaches have many access points that enable us to cater to a wide range of learners. These philosophies promote self-directed, experimental learning in a relationship-driven environment. Our philosophy on education places the parents, teachers, and adults in any child’s life as co-researchers in the young person’s quest for knowledge. The foundation of our program is built on this philosophy of active, child-led, adult-supported learning. We create an environment built for daily exploration and discovery, which are the building blocks for developing self-esteem and problem solving skills.

Turn a simple household chore into a fun learning opportunity!

How to play:
1️⃣ Fill a laundry basket with clothes and a few favorite toys.
2️⃣ Ask your child to find specific items:
🗣️ “Can you find the red shirt?”
🗣️ “Where is the teddy bear?”
🗣️ “Can you find something soft?”

As therapists, we often look for milestones, skills, and developmental progress. But sometimes the most meaningful moments happen naturally.

While I was recording a video about developmental concerns and where to get started, my nephew was in the background carefully watching and imitating me. ❤️

This is a beautiful reminder that children learn through connection. They watch our faces, listen to our voices, imitate our actions, and build skills through everyday interactions.

Development doesn’t only happen during therapy sessions. It happens during conversations, play, routines, and shared moments with the people children trust most.

Sometimes the smallest moments tell us the biggest stories. ✨
