Suspended Visitation: Families of detainees are experiencing immense hardship. Visitation rights have been severely restricted and, in many cases, suspended altogether, leaving loved ones cut off from meaningful contact. For some families, this separation is especially concerning, as relatives inside depend on daily prescription medications and ongoing support.
This week, family members were unable to see their loved ones. During this difficult time, came to sing with the kids hear their stories , to spend time with children parents and families, offering comfort, connection, and support.
I was invited to join by , a local organization I’ve been connected with for more than 10 years (whoa—where has the time gone?). In the midst of heartbreak and uncertainty, we came together as a community to share songs, create art, and hold space for one another on an incredibly difficult day.
