Who needs a therapist when you have a resident who’s ready to hear ALL the tea?!

Our Life Enrichment Director, Julie, took a seat on the couch for a little therapy session… but let’s just say the roles were REVERSED! We think she might’ve left with more advice than she came with!

Around here at At Home Senior Living, we take fun seriously, laughter is the best medicine, and our residents ALWAYS have something to say!

After Saturday’s game, we figured it was the perfect time to trade our red and black for a little Halloween fun.

Our residents got creative today making spooky jar lanterns, and we think these little crafts turned out frightfully fun!

We also want to give a BIG thank-you to the Stevenson family for hosting a tailgate party for our residents on Saturday! Even when the game doesn’t go our way, the fellowship, food, and memories made together are always a win!

At At Home Senior Living, it’s all about making memories, sharing laughs, and finding a little joy in every day, win or lose!

🐷💕 A little snout of happiness at At Home! 💕🐷

Our residents had a VERY special visitor today! 🥰 Little Darla, a FFA show pig belonging to Breyden Moxley McGowan, stopped by for some extra love, attention, and plenty of smiles!

Thank you, Breyden, for bringing Darla by and sharing a little farmyard fun with our residents! 🐽💗 We think it’s safe to say Darla stole a few hearts today!

This week we celebrated the best dietary team around for Healthcare Foodservice Workers Week!

Our dietary team does so much more than prepare meals. They serve up comfort, share smiles, and help make our community feel like home, one plate at a time. We are so grateful for the love, hard work, and care they pour into our residents every single day.

Help us show them some love! They deserve to be celebrated not just this week, but all year long.

💗🎀 Today, we had the honor of attending the Pinking of the Fountain, and our hearts are full!

A heartfelt thank-you to Mrs. Jill Blizzard with Wayne Memorial Hospital and Kara Lopez with the City of Jesup Downtown Development Authority for allowing At Home Senior Living to be part of such a special event.

We were especially honored to welcome keynote speaker Erica Williams into our community as she proudly placed her ribbon on Hope, our breast cancer awareness mannequin. We celebrated survivors, honored those still fighting, and remembered the precious lives that have touched our hearts. 💗

Erica shared a beautiful reminder of strength and faith:

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”

We are so proud to stand with our community, celebrate our warriors, honor our survivors, and remember those who will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Every ribbon tells a story, and every story deserves to be remembered. 💗🎀

What does an 8U baseball team have in common with our residents at At Home Senior Living?

A whole lot more than you might think!

Before the rain came and their game was called, the Cage Chaos 8U team spent their game break with us, enjoying pizza, laughter, and a little time with our “grannies and grandpas.” And let us tell you… those boys brought SO much joy into our halls!

One resident said something today that truly stuck with us:

“You see so much negativity about kids these days. Thank you for bringing them to visit and letting us see good, respectful kids are still here!”

Cage Baseball, Thank you. These boys are learning more than baseball—they’re learning kindness, respect, and how to make someone’s day a little brighter.

Thank you, Cage Chaos, for the smiles, the laughter, and the memories. You reminded us that sometimes the best part of the game happens off the field.

This special girl is more than just a mannequin, her name is Hope. She carries the names, memories, strength, and stories of people in our community who have been touched by breast cancer. 💗

🩷 Light pink ribbons are for those we have lost. Write the name of your loved one and pin their ribbon on her so we can remember and honor them together.

💕 Hot pink ribbons are for our survivors! These ribbons celebrate the incredible strength and courage of the women who have fought this battle.

Want to participate? Come by, add a ribbon, and help us fill her with hope; love and remembrance. 🎀

If you’re having a Breast Cancer Awareness event and would like Hope to make an appearance, we’d love to bring her! We can also provide more ribbons for your event.
