Board Chair Rick Rohrs, PA-C Emeritus, DFAAPA, SFHM shares more about the projects that may be supported by this competitive $5,000 grant. He shared, “As a small grants funder, we’re passionate about equipping PAs to be changemakers in their communities. Congratulations to Educator Nicole Caniglia! She is creating service-learning and mentorship opportunities for her PA program’s first cohort. Through six educational workshops, will teach foster and adopted teens , , and independent living skills. Topics will include healthcare navigation, puberty and sexual health, substance use prevention, financial literacy, educational and career readiness, and nutrition and cooking skills. Plans to track impact will refine future outreach initiatives.
