Celebrating Clinical Success : Georgia Richardson

Ms. Georgia Richardson came to Abundant Christian Living Community Rehabilitation Center following a hospital stay resulting in a decline in function. Upon admission, she presented with decreased strength, balance, and overall decreased endurance impacting her level of independence.

Ms. Richardson worked hard and challenged herself to progress to a supervision level of assistance with transfers, walking, and dressing. She is happy with her progress and states, “I could write a book on how good my therapy has been here. Everyone has been so nice.” Ms. Richardson is looking forward to going home to make one of her favorite meals a tomato and onion sandwich on wheat bread with fresh corn from the garden.

Every employee I encountered took tremendous pride in their work, respected residents and visitors, and worked as a team to provide the best care possible. So professional and caring, amazing staff! Thank you from the bottom of heart.

The Davidson family and friends wanted to provide a meal as a thank you and small gesture of our appreciation. My parents so enjoyed living there, and staff was a huge part of that experience."

Celebrating Clinical Success : Linda Kiser

Ms. Linda Kiser came to Abundant Christian Living Community Rehabilitation Center following a hospital stay resulting in a decline in function. Upon admission, she was having difficulty with mobility and required increased assistance with activities of daily living that had impact on her ability to return home.

Ms. Kiser worked hard to improve her strength, balance, and overall endurance and met her goals to return home independently with transfers, walking, and dressing. Ms. Kiser is happy with her progress and states, “Therapy has really helped me a lot. My strength and balance have gotten better This is a nice place. I couldn’t ask for anything or anywhere better.” Ms. Kiser is looking forward to going home to get back to her routine and see her four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Abundant Christian Living Community would like to congratulate our very own Becky Lewis as the new Director of Facility Operations and Customer Experience. Becky has worked in the Long-Term Care Industry for almost 30 years in various positions. She has been very instrumental in the daily operations of the facilities she has worked in. The last 28 years have been spent with the same company. Most recently she served as the Director of Environmental Services for the ACLC Community.

Becky’s long career in serving the Long-Term Care Industry has given her the experience to take on this new role. Vendor negotiations, customer relations and project management will be some of her primary responsibilities. Becky will also focus on Survey Preparedness and developing ways to improve the overall customer experience.

Becky stated, "after 30 years of working in healthcare learning, serving and caring for others, God has blessed me with a new opportunity to grow. I am so excited to continue my career with love, compassion and making a positive difference as I go. I am blessed."

Congratulations Becky on this new role. The ACLC family is very proud of your accomplishments.

This lovely lady just turned 100 years old at Abundant Christian Living Rehabilitation Center, and we had the extraordinary privilege of celebrating her birthday.

Dorothy Eversole has been a part of our community for many years. Friends and family from near and far traveled to celebrate and honor her. A century of love, laughter, wisdom, resilience, and memories!
