Kyleigh Bright, LCSW is our first therapist in our Nashville Office. Check her out at 3810 Central Pike, Suite 204, in Hermitage or online.
Her specialty areas are working with children, adolescents and parents with trauma and anxiety and perinatal and postpartum mental health.

Life can be messy, overwhelming , and unpredictable- but you don’t have to navigate it alone. I believe healing happens in a space where you feel safe, heard, and accepted exactly as you are. My goal is to create that space while helping you build the skills and confidence to move towards the life you want.

I work with children, teens, and adults, recognizing every person’s story, strengths, and challenges are unique. Instead of relying on a one-size-fits-all method, I tailor therapy to fit your individual needs rather than expecting you to fit into a single therapeutic model. Together, we’ll find the strategies and interventions that work best for you.

And whether you are healing from trauma, managing anxiety, navigating life transitions, building healthier relationships or helping your child through emotional or behavioral challenges, we will work as a team. Therapy isn’t about “fixing” you- because you aren’t broken. It’s about helping you understand yourself, build resilience, and discover the tools you need to move forward with confidence.

As a wife and mama to two young children, I understand life often requires us to wear many hats. While my personal experiences don’t define the therapeutic work we do together, they deepen my appreciation for the joys, challenges, and constant balancing act that so many individuals and families experience. I know firsthand that perfection isn’t the goal- showing up, asking for support, and finding grace in the process is where growth begins, and I will be right there alongside you.

My hope is that when you leave our sessions, you will feel heard, supported, challenged in healthy ways, and empowered to continue to grow after you walk out the door.

Hi there! I am Abby Wyatt, a Master’s Level therapist interning at Tranquil JC. I am currently a graduate student studying Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Milligan University, on track to pursue LPC-MHSP licensure following graduation and residency.

For the last 10 years, I have worked as a graphic designer and marketer for different organizations, from big corporate businesses to niche creative agencies. My transition into the therapy world has been shaped by a variety of things: my own journey toward healing, a deeper understanding of my family, and a desire to help others find that same clarity and growth. So, I took a leap of faith at 30 to go back to school in pursuit of a career that felt more meaningful–one where I could help people heal, not just hit a marketing metric. And here we are!

I am excited to bring my creative perspective, empathy, and collaborative approach to counseling. As I grow in the mental health field, I would like to specialize in trauma, anxiety, life/career transitions, and couples/relationships. I am also interested in working with veterans, first responders, and those in relationships with a first responders or veterans. Techniques and theories I am interested in include: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Gestalt, and art therapy with a psychodynamic lens and holistic approach. Overall, it is my goal to create a nonjudgmental space that encourages self-discovery, helps clients reconnect with their authentic selves, and fosters authentic growth and healing.

Favorite Class: Counseling Theories & Application
A Book I’d Recommend: The Soul of Shame by Curt Thompson
Favorite Reads: 1984 by George Orwell; Lord of the Flies by William Golding
Hobbies & Interests: I am an aspiring artistic roller skater! I spend a lot of my free time at the rink practicing dances, jumps, tricks, and figures. I also love to take road trips with my husband and two furbabies, Oakley and Patton.

New peer-led consultation group for experienced clinicians in treating OCD offered by Laken Schang, LCSW and Tranquil JC!

Laken is forming a peer-led consultation group for experienced clinicians looking to troubleshoot their most challenging OCD cases. While ERP remains our primary clinical anchor, this will be a collaborative space to integrate insights from ACT, I-CBT, and other evidence-based modalities. Our goal is to move beyond the basics and support one another through the more complex cases.

This group is designed for those who already have a solid foundation in OCD treatment. We plan to meet bi-weekly virtually for rotating case presentations and open clinical discussion. If you are interested in joining a cohort of dedicated specialists to sharpen your practice, please reach out to [email protected] with a brief note about your experience and practice focus.
