Access to quality, patient-centered healthcare matters to everyone in our community.

As independent healthcare providers serving Northeast Tennessee, we understand how decisions made in Nashville can affect local practices, healthcare professionals and, most importantly, the patients and families who depend on us.

We are proud to stand together in support of Dan Pohlgeers for Tennessee State Senate District 3. Watch the video to hear why we believe his commitment to independent healthcare and our local community matters.

Election Day is August 6. Make your voice heard and vote.

🫀Getting outside is one of the best ways to stay active, but summer heat can place extra stress on your cardiovascular system.
During UV Awareness Month, remember that protecting yourself from the sun also helps protect your heart.

Consider these heart-smart summer tips:

☀️ Exercise in the early morning or evening when temperatures are lower.

💧 Stay hydrated throughout the day, especially before outdoor activities.

🧴 Apply sunscreen and reapply as directed when spending extended time outside.

❤️ If you have heart disease, high blood pressure, or vascular disease, pay close attention to how you feel. Symptoms like dizziness, excessive fatigue, chest discomfort, or shortness of breath should never be ignored.

A little preparation goes a long way toward enjoying a safe, healthy summer.

📣❤️ Karing Hearts Cardiology and Paz Echad are proud to celebrate our fifth year of partnership as we return to Cochabamba, Bolivia, from May 22 to 30.

Together, we will provide life-saving pacemaker implants to patients suffering from severe cardiac complications caused by Chagas disease.

Over the past four years, our dedicated teams have transformed lives by successfully treating 247 patients who otherwise could not afford this essential care. This year, 60 more patients are eagerly awaiting our arrival, and we are honored to continue serving as a blessing to them and their families.

🫀🧠❤️ At KHC Cardiology and KHC Cath Lab, we believe caring for your heart means caring for the whole person.

This Mental Health Awareness Month, we’re highlighting simple daily habits that can support both mental wellness and overall heart health.

Stress, poor sleep, burnout, and constant screen time can affect the body in real ways — including blood pressure, energy, and cardiovascular wellness.

Small steps like mindful mornings, gentle movement, proper hydration, screen breaks, and reflection before sleep can help create more balance in your day.

Your mind matters. Your heart matters. And taking care of one often supports the other.

♥️🏥 This Nurses Week, we’re taking a moment to recognize the nurses who help shape the care experience every single day.

In a clinical setting, so much of excellent care happens in the details. It’s the preparation before a procedure, the calm communication with a patient, the steady support during busy moments, and the ability to notice what matters before anyone has to ask.
Our nurses bring professionalism, compassion, focus, and heart to the work they do. They help patients feel cared for, help families feel informed, and help the entire team move with confidence.

To our nurses, THANK YOU, for the way you show up, the standards you uphold, and the difference you make in the lives of the people we serve.
We appreciate you this week and every week. ❤️
