er day while encouraging residents to remain active physically and mentally. Our class CNA licensing allows our residents to be ambulatory, semi-ambulatory, or confined to wheelchairs. Sunset Ridge is conveniently located near hospitals, medical care, shopping, restaurants, and theatres. Our location of Highway 26 is easily accessible from the communities of Lake Mills, Jefferson, Fort Atkinson, Watertown, and Oconomowoc.

☀️🎉 Saying Goodbye to Summer in Style! 🎉☀️

We wrapped up summer with a fun-filled End of Summer Party at Sunset Ridge! Our residents enjoyed great food, refreshing treats, music, laughter, and plenty of time together. ❤️

It was the perfect way to celebrate all the sunshine, fun, and special moments we’ve shared this summer. From outdoor activities to family visits and community outings, it has been a season full of memories!

Here’s to one last summer celebration before we welcome all the fun that fall has in store! 🍂🎃

Our residents had a wonderful time getting out and enjoying a day at the Henry Vilas Zoo last week! There were plenty of smiles, interesting animals to see, and great conversations along the way. 🦓🐘🦩

It was the perfect opportunity to get some fresh air, enjoy a change of scenery, and make new memories together. We love being able to provide our residents with fun outings and experiences that bring a little adventure to their day! ❤️

❤️🇺🇸 A Beautiful Full-Circle Moment at Sunset Ridge 🇺🇸❤️

We are honored to share the beautiful story of Ron and a very special moment that took place here at Sunset Ridge in Johnson Creek.

Ron’s life has been marked by service, hard work, family, and dedication. From his years serving in the Army National Guard and Air National Guard to his remarkable career caring for the grounds at Watertown Country Club, he created a legacy that reaches far beyond his own lifetime.

This summer, Ron was honored with a special Veteran Pinning Ceremony, surrounded by family, lifelong friends, and fellow veterans. What made the moment even more meaningful was having his grandson, Dietrich, there to honor him. Dietrich was preparing to begin Officer Candidate School with the Marine Corps—making this a truly special full-circle moment between two generations of military service.

We were truly honored to have Ron as a part of our Sunset Ridge community and to be able to witness and celebrate such a meaningful moment in his life. His kindness, strength, stories, and the legacy he shared with his family made him a very special part of our community. ❤️

Moments like this are what make our community so special. We are privileged to celebrate the lives, stories, accomplishments, and legacies of the incredible people who call Sunset Ridge home.

🎂 A Sweet Afternoon of Creativity! ✨

Today our residents turned plain cakes into edible works of art by literally painting the frosting onto their cakes! Everyone had a wonderful time dreaming up their own unique designs and adding a little sparkle with edible glitter.

The fun didn't stop there—the leftover edible glitter was mixed into juice for an extra bit of shimmer to enjoy later during our Armchair Travel activity. Residents will get to savor both their sparkling drinks and the delicious cakes they created themselves.

It's amazing how a little creativity, color, and laughter can make such sweet memories! 💕
