“Hi there, my name is Taylor Buuck. I have been in love with the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) for over a decade! I was extremely blessed to come in contact with an amazing BCBA-D early on in my studies. I met Dr. Al Murphy of Florida State University (FSU) on my 21st birthday! He was on fire for ABA, he zealously shared his passion and love for the science and the individuals that he has been honored to serve, he cares deeply about ethics and worked closely with Dr. Jon Bailey who literally wrote the book on ethics! (Our most important ABA document –Ethics!). This shaped me, my studies, and my work profoundly. I care DEEPLY about the amazing people I am so honored to serve, I care deeply about ethics, assent, advocacy, transparency, warmth, evidenced-based practice, data, empowerment, humility, communication, collaboration, compassion, and –kindness–! I have provided support and leadership across all settings (clinic, school, community, in-home, and group programs) and have been able to impact and witness how incredibly powerful and effective ABA can be when implemented ethically, scientifically, and above all—with heart! I am the eldest of 5 children and a lifelong learner and caretaker. I am incredibly grateful to be here at Kind and Uplifting ABA and work alongside a wonderful team, and to have the opportunity to support a very special group of therapists and children!”
