We had a wonderful time sprucing up our memory care courtyard with the help of some of our talented residents! After planting our flowers we enjoyed refreshments on the patio, it was a beautiful day. 💚🪴

We wanted to give a big shout out celebrating our Johnston Launch Program student, Jaylyn, on her last day volunteering in our community for the semester! She has spent the last few months helping our team in all departments from housekeeping to dining and more!

The Johnston Launch Program is an integrated transition program for students who received special education services and is designed to help students transition into postsecondary life by building skills in living, learning, and working. Thank you for your hard work, Jaylyn! 💚⭐

We had a fantastic adventure yesterday visiting our PicturePals over at the Johnston Early Learning Academy! We have been sending notes/crafts back and forth this semester and our residents finally got to meet their pal in person! We sang songs, made a craft, and had a delicious treat together.

This partnership has brought so much joy to our residents (and the kids!) and we look forward to continuing fostering these intergenerational relationships! 🎨☀️
