Hooray! Hooray! We recently celebrated Graduation Day!

Graduation season is here, and at ChildServe, we’re celebrating the many graduates across our services!

Two of the individuals we serve in our Inpatient Complex Medical Care program graduated from Johnston Community School District . Our team is incredibly proud of Haley and Nathaniel and all they have accomplished on their journey to this milestone.

ChildServe team members and families celebrated with cookies, well wishes, photo ops and even a dance party! 🎉

Over 110 designers at took guests on a journey to Hollywood with the 2026 theme, Starstruck! ✨

The runway show was packed with creative BUBBLE WRAP® designs featuring talented new and veteran designers. The event raised over a million dollars and reached over 2,100 guests.

Each year, the ChildServe team comes together to celebrate the incredible work and impact of our designers through special awards and recognitions. Check out the awards that were given out to designers this year!

Join us this Sunday for the Sensory-Friendly Game at the Ballpark! ⚾️ Iowa Cubs Autism Society of Iowa

Join ChildServe, the Autism Society of Iowa, and the Iowa Cubs on Sunday, June 7, for the third-annual Sensory-Friendly Game at the Ball Park! ⚾

The 2026 Sensory-Friendly Game will provide an environment designed for individuals with autism or sensory processing disorders in mind, so families can visit, play and enjoy the game. Special programming and activities are planned with modifications, including the mitigation of sounds and motions as much as possible, designated educational areas, calming rooms, directional signage and trained volunteers throughout the stadium.

We’re proud to celebrate Shay Dearchs, LPN, on receiving a DAISY Award. 🌼

When a family faced a terminal diagnosis for their child, Shay was a constant source of strength and comfort for both the individual and their family. The family, along with Shay's manager, submitted nominations highlighting the exceptional compassion, professionalism and care she consistently delivers.
