I haven’t quite been feeling like myself lately, and after acupuncture today, I was feeling so nice and relaxed that I decided to just slow down and enjoy the evening. ❤️

So I got outside, took a beautiful drive around the Quemahoning Dam, and did a little exploring in hopes of finding a new favorite spot to watch the sunset near my new home. 🌅

The hunt for that epic sunset spot is still on, but I did manage to catch this beautiful picture of the moon surrounded by all those gorgeous sunset colors. 🌙

There’s just something about being outside, taking in the scenery, breathing in the fresh air, and appreciating the beauty that’s literally all around us. Sometimes I think we get so caught up in everyday life that we forget how good it feels to just slow down and be present.

So if you haven’t been feeling quite like yourself lately, get outside. Go for a drive, take a walk, find somewhere quiet, and just soak it all in.

Let Mother Nature work a little of her magic. 🌿❤️

I naturally woke up a little earlier than usual, so I figured I’d make the most of it — light a delicious-smelling candle, make some coffee, and bounce back and forth between studying anatomy and reading my new book. ☕📚

Sometimes these quiet mornings are exactly what I need before the craziness of the week really gets going.

I hope everyone is having a wonderful week! I am officially booked through the rest of October and into November, and I’m so incredibly grateful. 🤍

If you’re really needing to get in, please still reach out and I’ll do my best to find a spot for you or get you on the cancellation list.

Now back to reading… and probably another cup of coffee. 😂☕

Another crazy week in the books, and somehow another full one is already waiting for me next week. 😂🤍

Busy can definitely be exhausting, but I’m also really grateful. Grateful for every person who walks through my door, trusts me with their body, supports my business, and keeps my schedule full.

Tired? Absolutely. 😂
Happy? Very.
Grateful? Always.

Here’s to another full week ahead. 🤍 coffee with my girls before I head into work today.

My 5-year anniversary is coming up soon, and looking back at this picture makes me so happy. 🤍

I remember how scared I was to take that leap — opening my first brick-and-mortar space and moving my business out of the house felt HUGE at the time.

There were so many nerves, so many “what ifs,” and so much uncertainty… but I did it anyway.

Now, almost five years later, I can look back and see just how far I’ve come. I’ve grown, learned, changed, and built something I’m incredibly proud of.

This picture is such a good reminder that sometimes the things that scare us the most are the very things that help us grow the most.

Almost 5 years. 🥹🤍 What a journey it’s been.

✨ A couple last-minute openings just popped up! ✨

Unfortunately, my hairdresser got sick and had to cancel on me tomorrow — but her loss is your gain! 😂💆‍♀️

That means I now have a 2:00 PM and 4:30 PM appointment available tomorrow.

If you’ve been meaning to get on my table, send me a message and let’s get you booked! 🤍

First come, first served!

Another tool just got added to the toolbox… 👀✨ I’m officially Gua Sha certified!

I originally considered going the Graston route, but after doing my homework, I decided I didn’t need to pay the additional premium simply for the Graston name.

And honestly, one of my favorite things I learned through this process is that Gua Sha is so much more than the facial beauty routine we usually see online. Scraping has a long history in traditional practice, and there are different techniques and applications depending on the tissue, area of the body, and intention behind the work.

Graston is a specific branded system of instrument-assisted soft tissue work, and I absolutely respect the education and methodology behind it. For me, though, I wanted to understand the principles behind scraping itself and how I can thoughtfully incorporate it into the kind of work I already love doing — fascial work, structural bodywork, movement, and looking at the body as a whole.

I’m always looking beyond the exact spot someone feels discomfort. I’m interested in the tension patterns, fascial restrictions, compensations, movement, and connections that may be contributing to what we’re seeing and feeling in the body.

So no, this little tool isn’t replacing my hands. 😂 It’s simply another tool in the toolbox — another way to work with tissue, provide different input to the body, and complement the deeper hands-on work I’m already doing.

I’m excited to keep learning, refining my technique, and start bringing Gua Sha into my practice. 🤍.
