July photos! We made firework salt art for 4th of July, had ice cream on the patio and listened to some worship music by Tyler of We Bring Worship. Played a sensory game where there were different objects in each bag and they had to guess what it was without looking! Everyone did so well! Thanks to First Lutheran Church for organizing a performance by Andrew Mulligan who played the trumpet and Andrea Mulligan who played the piano, they truly sounded so beautiful! We had our activity raffle, made a shark and then ended the month with a movie! We watched Shark Take for shark week!

We’re a little behind but here’s some fun stuff we did in June! Planted cherry tomatoes and green peppers and cooled off with popsicles! Had ice cream sundaes and Patriotic trivia with Lisa(Asera care), painted some bumbles bees, and made some refreshing fruit salad with Bobbi( UPMC). Thanks to Chaplain Matt and Chaplain Heidi as always for the beautiful worshiped services you provide! Thanks to Pastor Cory(Pinnacle)for coming to visit with his guitar to sing us the beautiful Hymns and also a thanks to our lovely Bingo helpers, Matt(1laurel) and Candie(Interim)

After we had a delicious summer lunch we had some silly props to take pictures with, some summer time games and a sweet treat while we played! The basket party was also a hit! What a lovely time we had during our summer picnic! We had so many wonderful family and friends come and hang out with us! We started our morning with a sea turtle craft with Candie(Interim)! Thanks so much! Thanks for all the extra little helpers and a few extra volunteers we had too! The turtles turned out so cute! We had grilled hot dogs and hamburgers, pasta salad, fruit salad, chips, and cupcakes for lunch! Thanks eveyone who helped with donating a food idea and everyone who helped make our meal go so smoothly!

What a great Fathers Day lunch we had on Friday! A big thanks to Jamie(Penn) for the Arby’s sandwiches and fries! They were a big hit and don’t forget the root beer floats and mini cheesecake bites! Yum!

Spring is here and we are ready for the nice weather! We made tulip silhouette paintings and played BINGO outside on one of our first warm days this month! Thanks to Melissa(Hilltop Heights) who came and painted flowers to look stained glass to put in our windows! We had a Shirley Temple movie day but I think our favorite part of the day is always the popcorn!! 🍿 The residents had a chance to win some prize’s during our Activity Raffle and to end our month of May during Cooking Club we took all the toppings you’d put in a chef salad and made a pasta salad and it was a hit!!

We hope everyone had a wonderful Mothers Day! We started the morning out with a beautiful flower to the beautiful women here! In the afternoon we celebrated with some tea and goodies with our loved ones! We also planted flowers to place in their bedroom windows to watch grow! Thanks you Jamie(Penn) and Candie(Interim) for helping to make their day so special!❤️ 🌹
