Since tomorrow is World Mental Health Day, it is the perfect time to introduce Audrey who is representing NAMI Will-Grundy (the National Alliance on Mental Illness)
For nearly 20 years, NAMI Will-Grundy (the National Alliance on Mental Illness) has been the trusted provider of peer-support mental health resources in our community, offering free programs for individuals living with a mental health concern and for the family/friends who support that person. NAMI Will-Grundy offers in person and virtual peer-led support groups, education courses, community presentations and immersion in community events at no cost to participants throughout Will and Grundy Counties. Each of these programs contributes to reduced social isolation, improved mental wellness, a stronger community, a healthier workforce, and a brighter future for each of us. As a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization, NAMI Will-Grundy relies on generous donations from community members and businesses who are committed to improving the health of our area residents. Donations support materials for in-person support groups and classes, equipment for presentations, and supplies for other meaningful events.

Trinity Services Launches Community Behavioral Health Needs Assessment - Responses Welcomed!

We are excited to launch Trinity Services’ Community Behavioral Health Needs Assessment and are asking for your input.

Who Should Complete the Survey?

We are interested in those who have firsthand knowledge of the behavioral health needs, barriers, service gaps, and available resources in the communities that Trinity serves. We are also looking for insights based on your own personal experiences, that of family or friends, or your involvement in the community.

Please complete the survey based on any combination of your professional experience, personal experience, and knowledge of your community. This might include accessing or trying to access behavioral health services, making referrals, helping someone locate services, encountering wait lists or other barriers, or identifying services and resources that have been particularly helpful.

You do not need to have expertise in every area or be familiar with every available resource. We are interested in your perspective based on what you have observed or experienced, and you should only share personal information that you are comfortable providing.

We also encourage you to share the survey with community providers, organizations, and other individuals who may have valuable insight into behavioral health needs and resources in the area.
