A SWEET CELEBRATION AT EDEN VISTA ROCK RUN!

Hi Rock Run families & friends! Today, as we continue celebrating Assisted Living Week, we treated our amazing staff to something extra sweet — the “Rock Run Creamery”! 🍨

Our staff enjoyed an assortment of delicious ice cream, candies, fudge, caramel, raspberries, and plenty of other toppings to create their perfect sweet treat!

The ice cream was certainly sweet, but not nearly as sweet as our incredible staff! We are so grateful for everything they do each and every day for our residents, families, and community. ❤️

A Little Taste of Summer at Eden Vista Rock Run! 🎨

As summer and those hot days begin to wind down, our Assisted Living residents spent time yesterday in our multipurpose room creating beautiful artwork inspired by a sunset at the beach. 🌴

Everyone followed the same step-by-step instructions, but each piece turned out completely unique — just like each of our wonderful residents!

It was a relaxing afternoon filled with creativity, conversation, and plenty of smiles. We love seeing our residents express themselves through art!

Happy Assisted Living Week from Eden Vista Rock Run! 💙

Today, we want to give a HUGE thank you to all of our incredible team members who make a difference in the lives of our residents every single day. We are so grateful for your compassion, dedication, hard work, and the countless ways you make Eden Vista Rock Run feel like home. ❤️

Yesterday, we kicked off our Assisted Living Week celebrations by breaking the vending machine! 😄 Our team enjoyed a much-needed afternoon pick-me-up with snacks and drinks placed in both of our break rooms. Sometimes it’s the little things that can make a busy day a little brighter!

📸 Featured is Scott, one of our Dining Assistants, who is truly beloved by our residents and families. We are so lucky to have him as part of our Eden Vista family!

🎶 Let’s Get Physical at Eden Vista Rock Run MC!

Staying physically active is important at every age! At Eden Vista Rock Run MC, we believe movement should be safe, fun, and adapted to each resident’s abilities. Physical activity can help support strength, coordination, balance, mood, and overall well-being.

The other day, our residents got moving with parachute fun as we played to the beat! We followed that up with our very own Resident Rock Band, using our drumsticks to make some music and wake up all our neighbors! 🥁

After all that music and motion, we slowed things down with some relaxing puzzles and time together. 🧩

Today, our artistic side came out as our residents got creative making spray-on tie-dye T-shirts! 👕🎨

Every shirt turned out very similar, yet completely different—just like the unique personalities that make our community so special! 💕 We can’t wait to see the final products, put them on, and proudly wear them together!

READY, AIM, FIRE! 🎯

Who says a child’s toy can’t turn into some serious competition?! 😄 The other day at Eden Vista Rock Run MC, our residents took a simple toy and transformed it into a fun game of aim and accuracy!

We drew a target on the board, with points increasing the closer you got to the bullseye!

While all of our games are friendly and all about having fun, adding a little friendly competition can bring out a side of our residents that we don’t always get to see! The focus, determination, laughter, and excitement were on full display. ❤️

It’s amazing how something so simple can create so much fun, engagement, and plenty of bragging rights! 🏆

Hello Eden Vista families & friends! 💕 Please take a moment to help us wish a very Happy Birthday to our wonderful ladies celebrating August birthdays — Marlyn T., Jean E., & Rosemary W.!

We spent the afternoon celebrating with all the things that make a birthday special — coffee, cake, great company, and plenty of music! ☕🍰🎶

Our residents enjoyed a concert tribute projected on the big screen honoring the one and only Patsy Cline! 🎤❤️ It was an afternoon filled with smiles, laughter, sweet treats, and wonderful memories.

Great Food, Great Company & Even Better Memories! 🍽️❤️

Today, we packed up the bus and headed out for a lunch outing to a Joliet favorite — Jameson’s!

Jean E., Gail, Mary, Jean S., Barb, Maxine, Flo, her son, and our wonderful staff all enjoyed a delicious meal, beautiful weather, and some much-needed time out and about! 🌞

There’s nothing better than good food shared with great company, and today was a perfect reminder that the best moments are often the simplest ones.

We’re already looking forward to our next adventure! 🚌✨
