Existential Counselor Society

Existential Counselor Society Counselors Dedicated to Changing Minds and Changing Lives All people are entitled to experience the highest level of human functioning.

The basic needs such as love and belonging, safety needs, and physiological needs must be met in order for a person to develop high self-esteem eventually leading to self-actualization or the ability to define in one's life, and find the answer to the question "WHO AM I?"

In order to achieve wellness a person must have a mastery in all four realms of human existence (self, society, biology, and s

pirituality). A concern in one area leads to a person experiencing anxiety. Anxiety is a normal aspect of life, but neurotic or problematic anxiety debilitates causing a sense of paralysis in achieving one's goals and desires

For many men in recovery, today may not look the way they wish it did. Being away from your family is one of the hardest sacrifices a father can make but choosing treatment is not choosing to be absent. It’s choosing to be better.

It takes tremendous strength to step away from everyday life, face difficult truths, and commit to healing. Every counseling session, every group, meeting every day of sobriety is an investment and becoming the father role model and man your family deserves.

To the fathers in our program: We see your courage. We honor your commitment. And we celebrate the work you are doing to build a healthier future for yourself and your loved ones.

Happy Father’s Day from ECS!
