Happy Retirement, Cindy Grappe, RN!✨

After many years of dedicated service, we are honored to celebrate the retirement of Cindy Grappe, RN, at Jackson Parish Hospital.

Cindy began her journey with JPH in 1994, later stepping away for a time before returning on April 14, 2009. During her most recent chapter, she has devoted 17 years and 2 months to caring for our patients and supporting her team, leaving a lasting impact through her experience, compassion, and commitment.

Cindy, thank you for your years of hard work, dedication, and compassionate care. Your contributions have truly made a difference, and you will be greatly missed by all who have had the pleasure of working alongside you.

We wish you the very best in this next chapter of life - may your retirement be filled with relaxation, joy, and all the things you love most.💙

Inspiring the Next Generation of Healthcare Professionals ✨

Jackson Parish Hospital was proud to host AHEC students from June 1st to 19th as part of their summer rotation, allowing them to explore a future in healthcare through real-world, hands-on experiences.

Throughout their time with us, students rotated through several areas of the hospital, including Acute Care, ER, PT/OT, Radiology, the Business Office, Case Management, and Endoscopy. They also had the opportunity to follow Dr. Ed Mariano in the hospital and gain additional insight into the Lab, Pharmacy, and Respiratory departments.

Programs like AHEC offer students a meaningful look into healthcare careers, allowing them to learn, ask questions, and experience firsthand what it means to care for others.

We are proud to play a role in inspiring the next generation of healthcare professionals right here in our community.

A special thank you to all of our staff who took the time to support and encourage these students throughout their visit. Your impact truly makes a difference! 💙

Please join Jackson Parish Hospital in celebrating our June ‘WOW’ Award recipient, Malina Lewter, LPN, a valuable member of our Podiatry team!

Malina was nominated for her cheerful and welcoming manner, as well as the exceptional care she provides to every patient she serves. Patients consistently share that she brings a positive attitude to each interaction, creating a comforting and encouraging environment. Her kindness and compassion leave a lasting impression on both patients and coworkers alike.

Since joining the Jonesboro Family Care Clinic in February 2024, Malina has continued to demonstrate strong dedication, professionalism, and a genuine passion for her work. Having worked alongside Dr. Nolan since 2019, she brings valuable experience and knowledge in podiatry, along with a deep commitment to patient care. She is always willing to lend a helping hand and supports others with a smile, helping foster a positive and dependable team environment.

Malina’s kindness, skill, and dedication play an important role in supporting Jackson Parish Hospital’s mission of providing the very best care to those we serve.
