Congratulations to the kitchen and dining staff of The Bungalows at Jonesboro for being recognized as a top Crandall performer within our company, Phoenix Senior Living. Lead cook, Leslie Triggs recently attended the yearly Food & Beverage Summit where she accepted the award on behalf of Food & Beverage Director, Laura Courtois and her team. This award is based on food safety, training, cleanliness of the kitchen and dining room, and resident satisfaction of meals and service. Congratulations to this team! We are proud of you!

It was an exciting day recently for a few of the residents of The Bungalows at Jonesboro! The group headed to the Southland Casino for some fun and entertainment. Whether trying their luck at the slots, hitting the poker tables, or just enjoying a delicious meal, it was all about making memories and enjoying time together. Thank you, Krista, Laura and Renee for taking them!

Here's Part 2 of the Mother's Day Tea 2026 at The Bungalows at Jonesboro. We love this annual event and this year's tea didn't disappoint. We appreciate our volunteers, Waynona and her friends, Marita, Joanne and Linda, who assisted Waynona with the program and lent a hand where needed. Thank you, ladies!

We can't let any more time pass without sharing photos from the annual Mother's Day Tea at The Bungalows at Jonesboro! The ladies were dressed for the occasion and came ready to enjoy finger foods while sipping their tea. Several daughters attended with their mothers which made the afternoon even more special. Guest speaker, Waynona Avery shared examples of mother/ daughter relationships found in the Bible. Several ladies were acknowledged: Miss Ruthe for being the oldest mother at the young age of 102, Miss Roma for having the most children, numbering 6, and Miss Ina's daughter for traveling the farthest, from Indiana. It was a very enjoyable afternoon for everyone!

The veterans of The Bungalows at Jonesboro were honored to be acknowledged by the Veterans Support Association recently. This group is always so good about showing their appreciation for the sacrifice and service these men gave. Your act of kindness reminded them that they are not forgotten and are still appreciated. As we observe Memorial Day, let us also take a moment to remember and honor the brave men and women who sacrificed their lives serving our country. This day not only marks the unofficial start of summer but is a powerful reminder of the courage and dedication of those who fought for our freedom. Let’s carry their legacy in our hearts and express our gratitude. Wishing everyone a safe and meaningful Memorial Day!

A little bit of rain didn't stop the residents of The Bungalows at Jonesboro from showing their appreciation to Jonesboro Fire Station #4 and Medic One Ambulance Service today. These men were kind enough to get on the bus with them so that they didn't get wet. We just wanted to show our appreciation to these first responders for always being available to help us when we need it. Thank you and we hope you enjoy the cookie cake and candy!

Hello Facebook friends! We have missed sharing with you all of the beautiful smiles and radiant faces of our dear residents at The Bungalows at Jonesboro. So, we have some catching up to do! First, I want to share the birthday party that we threw for my assistant, Tillie who turns 31 years old tomorrow. Everyone enjoyed delicious cookie cake and ice cream while sharing memories and sweet sentiments about Tillie. Tillie is a vital part of the Activities Department. We love and appreciate her! Happy Birthday Tillie!

The residents of The Bungalows at Jonesboro celebrated National Pay it Forward Day by collecting donated items that were used to make special kits for residents living at Mission Outreach in Paragould. Currently, there are 36 individuals, (men, women and children) residing at Mission Outreach. It is the hope of our residents that these “care packages” will be an encouragement to the recipients and they will feel the love behind each kit packed. Residents prayed over these special packages after they were compiled and then we finished our special afternoon with ice cream sundaes.

National Pay it Forward Day is celebrated annually on April 28th and is not only a Phoenix Senior Living initiative but also a global one. It is our hope that our act of kindness will also spark a chain reaction of goodwill for others.
