We loved having Dr. Dana Watson on the air with Brandon & Kelly! 🎙️💙

During the conversation, Dr. Watson shared an important reminder: therapy isn’t a punishment—it’s an act of self-love and personal growth. She spoke on breaking down the stigma around counseling, why it can feel intimidating to reach out, and how having someone to talk to can make a meaningful difference for anyone.

She also touched on the importance of allowing children to grow into their own individuals while still guiding and protecting them, along with navigating and sometimes repairing relationships with our parents.

We are stronger together. 💙💛

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and at Families, Inc. Counseling Services, we’re reminded just how powerful connection, support, and community truly are.

Mental health impacts every one of us—our families, our friends, our coworkers—and no one should have to face life’s challenges alone. Whether it’s reaching out for help, checking in on someone you care about, or simply showing kindness, every action matters.

This month, let’s: 💬 Start conversations
🤝 Support one another
🧠 Prioritize mental wellness
đź’™ Break the stigma

Together, we can create a stronger, healthier community.

If you or someone you know needs support, we’re here for you.

Asking for help is not a weakness—it’s a sign of strength. 💙

During Mental Health Month, we want to remind everyone that you don’t have to carry everything on your own. Whether you’re facing stress, anxiety, grief, or just feeling overwhelmed, reaching out can make all the difference.

A conversation, a check-in, or taking that first step toward support can lead to healing and hope.

✨ It’s okay to ask for help. You are not alone.

Check in with yourself. đź’›

When was the last time you paused and asked, “How am I really doing?”
In the middle of busy schedules and daily responsibilities, it’s easy to put your own mental health on the back burner—but you matter, too.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, a reminder to slow down, reflect, and give yourself the same care and compassion you give to others. Whether it’s taking a break, talking to someone you trust, or seeking professional support, small steps can make a big difference.

At Families, Inc. Counseling Services, we’re here for you every step of the way. You are not alone. 🌿
