Dylan Fedor, D.O., has officially joined the UAMS Family Medical Center in Jonesboro as a full-time family medicine physician and associate professor after graduating from the UAMS Northeast Family Medicine Residency program this summer. He earned his medical degree from NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine at Arkansas State.

Dylan Fedor, D.O., has joined the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) Family Medical Center in Jonesboro, where he will offer comprehensive care for all ages.

UAMS Northeast took the spotlight at the Jonesboro Lions Club recently, talking of the impact UAMS Northeast has on this corner of the state through its family medicine residency and clinic. Lions Club president Deborah Levins joined Scott Dickson, M.D., UAMS Northeast residency director, Brian Jones, DHSc, vice chancellor of UAMS Regional Campuses, and Alex Morris, residency coordinator for UAMS Northeast.

Scott Dickson, M.D., residency director for UAMS Northeast, recently won a Red Sash Award. This is a prestigious honor voted on by graduating senior medical students in the UAMS College of Medicine. The award recognizes outstanding faculty members, educators, and mentors who have significantly impacted their medical education. Congratulations, Dr. Dickson!

College students walked away with lots of information to decide their next steps as a health care professional at the Undergraduate Pre-Health Conference last Friday at UAMS Little Rock. Students heard from the five UAMS colleges and graduate school, plus tips from a 7-member UAMS student panel. One piece of advice from a second-year med school student was to have a compelling story for the interview so you can stand out from the crowd. ASU-BEEBE
