🚒❗️FIRE TRAINING & EXERCISE MONDAY 🚒❗️

The Jonesboro Fire Department will be on campus Monday training members of their for elevator rescue incidents. After the training is complete, we have partnered with JFD, Jonesboro E911, and A-State Housing to exercise an elevator rescue scenario. The lessons learned from that exercise will be used to update and improve planning.

A Few Important Notes:

🚨 Please avoid Dean Street Monday to ensure safety of those involved in the training and to prevent any impacts to their operations.

🚨 You will notice an increase of fire department activity on campus Monday. Please don’t be alarmed - if you see fire trucks with lights/sirens, make sure to yield to them to allow them to respond efficiently.

All Clear!

All of the severe weather has ended across Region 8. Storms will continue across the areas, but will stay below severe limits. Thunder will linger for the next few hours. Locally heavy rainfall has lead to flooding in spots so watch out for water over the roads.

THANK YOU, for tuning in and trusting the K8 StormTeam over the last two days! We unfortunately did have damage across the area, so make sure to help your neighbors in the coming days and week.s We will update you when the ratings for tornadoes come out.
