People often focus on the moment that changed everything.
I focus on everything that came after.
Yes, I survived being stabbed by a patient in 2014. But survival was only the beginning.
The real story is what was built afterward.
The life that continued.
The practice that grew.
The stages I stood on.
The people I helped.
The family memories made.
The laughter, the purpose, the healing, the joy.
We donāt honor our survival by staying stuck in the moment that nearly broke us. We honor it by living fully beyond it.
Thriving is not pretending hard things didnāt happen. Itās refusing to let them have the final say.
I carry the scars. I also carry wisdom, gratitude, strength, and a deeper appreciation for every ordinary day.
Some chapters test you.
Some chapters transform you.
And some chapters prove just how much life can exist on the other side of what tried to take you out.
