As of November 18, 2022 Care For Women Joplin will be closing.

Dr Adcock will be moving to Freeman Urology in the role of Urogynecologist-GYN Surgery provider starting the first week of December, Tuesday mornings and Friday mornings. Our main phone number 417-623-1222 will remain the same at our new office which will be located at 3302 McIntosh Circle Suite 2.

His practice will be limited to Female incontinence and prolapse of the bowel and bladder, Vulvar and vaginal diseases, consulting for genetic testing and female cancers, consults for Urodynamic testing, and medical and surgical management of endometriosis.
He will no longer provide maintenance type Gynecologic or contraceptive care and the letter will state his recommendations on who to follow for further care.

A letter has been sent out explaining the above. Along with the letter a medical release will be included to allow Freeman Health System to have custody of your medical records.

Any balances due for care prior to November 18 will be payable immediately to Care For Women Joplin to stay in good standings with Dr Adcock. The CFWJ office will be open by prior arrangement; contact the office 417-623-1224 messages will be retrieved daily.

We will no longer take med refill requests after 11/14/22. Thank for your understanding and cooperation during this transition.

Job Description
**Part-Time Position Opening**

25-30 hours a week, plus addition hours as you are needed.

We are looking for an upbeat, detailed oriented, well groomed and friendly person who enjoys helping patients.

This person must have:
*Experience in the medical field dealing first hand with patients in a medical office.

*Strong computer skills

*Understand basic medical terminology

*Able to take accurate vitals.

*Experience dealing with medical insurance (copays, deductibles, coinsurance, prior authorizations, ect)

*Able to work under stressful fast paced conditions

*Caring personality that works well with others

MUST BE A TEAM PLAYER

Knowledge of eMD's (medical software) is a major bonus!

Position will include being cross trained to work where needed. This includes (but is not limited to) all reception duties, handling payments, verifying insurance information, updating patient information, answering phones, returning calls, all medical assistant duties, taking vitals and rooming patients, assisting with exams, updating medical data.
This position will be 25-30 hours per week plus additional hours as you are needed.

You must be available to work Monday - Friday during office hours.
