Flood Yoga Flood Yoga is a Seattle studio offering slow flow, restorative, and meditative yoga. Rooted in mindfulness and community, our sanctuary welcomes all levels.

Born from this space, we also created FloodedWith—ritual candles and incense for mindful living. Flood Yoga is a Seattle yoga studio located in the heart of Ballard, offering classes, workshops, and memberships for all levels. With an emphasis on slow flow yoga, restorative practices, breath work, and meditative techniques, we provide an intentional alternative to fast-paced, fitness-first styles. Rooted in mindfulness and community, our one-room studio is a sanctuary where students can pause, reset, and connect. Mats are always available for visiting students, and our space is designed for intentional movement and calm. Born from this sanctuary, we also created FloodedWith—a line of ritual candles and incense that extend the practice of mindfulness into daily life. Together, Flood Yoga and FloodedWith share a philosophy of slow living, intentional design, and everyday ritual.

As the leaves turn gold and the light softens, join us for a day of slowing down, tuning in, and warming up both body and soul.
Settled & Grounded is a one-day retreat built around the wisdom of Ayurveda and the rhythm of the season—a time for turning inward, releasing what no longer serves us, and nourishing ourselves for the months ahead.
The day moves through a grounding slow flow, intention-setting and journaling, an Ayurveda workshop on caring for body and mind through autumn’s transitional energy, a cozy lunch of homemade soup and hot mulled c***r, and a 75-minute closing flow that unwinds into deep restorative postures and a long savasana.

📅 Saturday, October 24th
🕗 9am start at Discovery Park (optional morning walk) or 10:30am at Flood Yoga
💛 $110

Come as you are. Leave rooted, rested, and ready for the season ahead.

Our latest limited edition seasonal scent FloodedWith Magic marks the turning of the year.

Because I could not stop for Death –
He kindly stopped for me –
The Carriage held but just Ourselves –
And Immortality.
— Emily Dickinson

In the old Celtic calendar, Samhain marked the end of harvest and the start of the dark season. It was a night when the veil grew thin, hearth fires were relit from the great bonfire, and the living and the dead were said to walk close enough to touch. Dickinson knew the feeling: no dread, only a quiet companion who takes the long way home.

Some aroma notes for you to ponder while you’re ordering online :
Pumpkin and acorn bring the last of the harvest.
Cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, ginger, and coriander warm the hearth.
Saffron adds a thread of rare gold.
Smoke and amber rise like bonfire embers, while sandalwood, patchouli, tonka, and musk settle everything into deep, dark earth.

Burn this when the nights grow long.
Remember those who came before.
Honor what is ending.
Welcome the magic of what is still to come.

Available online anytime at FloodedWith.com (link in bio) or after your next session in our Ballard studio.

Welcome Stasea to Flood!

We’re beyond excited to welcome Stasea (Yoga with Stasea) to the team this fall! 🍂🍁 Come say hi and flow with her on Tuesdays for Slow Flow 2 at 6pm.

“Stasea grew up on a sunny cul-de-sac where neighborhood games and connection sparked her love for movement and the value of community.

Fifteen years ago, she stepped into her first yoga class and found a practice that deepened that connection inward.

Trained in soulful flow yoga with additional study in restorative and yin under Jasmine RaShae’, Stasea teaches with a trauma-informed, breath-centered approach by inviting students to move mindfully, honor their bodies, and feel supported both on and off the mat.”

Grab your mat, bring a friend, and please give Stasea the warmest Flood welcome. ❤️

We launched our little studio in 2024 with a simple desire: to create the kind of space we’d always wanted to find ourselves. A space that felt intentional... warm, unhurried, welcoming to newcomers and longtime practitioners alike. Two years ago, this wasn’t the trend. It was just what felt true to us.

Now in our third year, we’re humbled by our consistent 5-star reviews and growing community. We’ve got a deep sense of who we are, who our community is, and what makes this whole thing unique and special... it didn’t happen overnight.

And we’re just getting started. If you’ve been with us from the beginning (there’s a lot of you!), thank you so much for knowing what this was before it had a name. And if you’re looking for an intimate studio that will welcome you warmly and meet you where you’re at, come on by and say hi... or read more at our website about where this all started (link in bio, of course).

With deepest gratitude to everyone who’s unrolled their mat and shared their practice with us since the beginning. Here’s to welcoming many more.

As daylight and darkness meet in perfect balance & the air turns cooler, join us to honor the turning of the season — a sacred pause between the fullness of summer and the quiet descent into fall.

This is our second year gathering to mark the equinox, and we’re so glad to welcome you home to your body as the world outside begins to shift.

Over 2.5 unhurried hours, we’ll move through :

A slow flow to soften and awaken the body, followed by breathwork to settle the nervous system and invite presence. We’ll sink into journaling & intention setting, then share tea and community connection — a moment to slow down together, in good company. We’ll close in stillness with a restorative sound bath by Tasha Hampton (Tasha Hampton | Sound Bath Practitioner), letting the vibrations carry us into deep rest.

This mini retreat is a a chance to exhale, ground down, and step into autumn with ease and intention.

Join us by registering via your Flood Yoga app or through our website. Clickable link in our IG Story, as well. See you there! 🤍
