But what your son needs isn't a perfect dad. He needs a safe one. One who repairs the relationship after it breaks. One who doesn't make him earn his way back.

When you come back and own it, you're teaching him something powerful. That relationships can be honest. That people can heal each other. That he is worth pursuing even after the hard moments.

That's what secure attachment looks like between a father and son. Not perfection. Just consistency, honesty, and always finding your way back to each other.

We're grateful to be in the Natural State with a beautiful backdrop for our weekly adventure therapy.

Each week our young men are challenged in ways that can't be replicated inside four walls. Nature has a way of stripping away distractions and getting to what's real. For our young men, that means confronting fear, frustration, and conflict in a safe and supportive environment and discovering they have what it takes to overcome it.

That's the beauty of getting outside. Happy National Get Outside Day!
