✨ A little preview of our 2nd Baby Shower! 🍼💗

The kids were having so much fun, Mommy was having fun, and the food was AMAZING! 😋🎉 Most importantly, the room was filled with nothing but love, support, and community resources for our moms and families. 💕

We’re so grateful for everyone who came out, supported, donated, shared resources, and helped make this day so special. This is what community is all about! 🫶🏽✨

Just wanted to share this because every donation truly makes a difference. 💜 I’m beyond blessed to have been able to help over 300+ families in our community and support 86 moms through childbirth.

This is what community is all about. A mama reached out looking for purple can formula for her twin baby boys, and I immediately checked my formula stash. Thankfully, I had exactly what she needed and was able to help her and her sweet twins.

To everyone who has donated, volunteered, or supported Pure Beginnings, thank you. Your generosity is changing lives one family at a time. Every diaper, every can of formula, every outfit, and every donation matters. 🫶🏽

Bringing new life into the world takes strength, and our next entrepreneur is there every step of the way. 🤍

Meet Layleen Rosario, owner of Pure Beginnings Doula Services!

As a young entrepreneur, Layleen is passionate about walking alongside mothers and families with compassionate care, education, and support throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

Her impact extends beyond the delivery room. Through initiatives like her Community Baby Closet, Layleen provides diapers, wipes, clothing, and other essentials to help families feel supported long after baby arrives.

Through Commerce Uplift, Layleen plans to utilize the knowledge and resources gained throughout the program to strengthen and grow her business so she can continue making a lasting impact in our community.

We're honored to have Layleen in Cohort 3 and can't wait to see all the lives she'll continue to support along the way. 💛

Our Community Baby Shower is happening August 15th and I’m so excited to bring everyone together again 🤍

This event is all about supporting moms, dads, and growing families in our community with love, resources, and essentials for their babies. Whether you’re expecting, a new parent, or just want to come out and support, you are welcome here.

We’ve also created a baby registry for Pure Beginnings for anyone who wants to donate and help us continue pouring into families. Every item, big or small, truly makes a difference and goes directly to parents in need.

Please RSVP if you plan on attending so we can prepare for everyone and make this day as special as possible.

🌸 Calling Future Birth Workers 🌸

My calling for birth work started when I was only 7 years old. Even as a little girl, I always felt drawn to helping moms and babies. As I got older, I had the opportunity to watch one of my close friends deliver her baby, and in that moment I knew this was exactly what I was meant to do. Watching life come into the world changed me forever and confirmed my passion for supporting women during one of the most important moments of their lives. 💛

That passion is why I created Pure Beginning and why I want to help inspire the next generation of birth workers, caregivers, and leaders.

Pure Beginning is now opening volunteer opportunities for girls ages 9+ who are interested in learning about community work, birth support, helping families, and making a difference.

Volunteers will have opportunities to:
✨ Help organize diapers, baby clothes, and donations
✨ Assist with baby showers and community events
✨ Learn about doula work and supporting mothers
✨ Gain leadership and teamwork skills
✨ Be part of a positive and meaningful environment

If you are not young and would still love to volunteer, participate, or support the mission, you are welcome too! Just send a DM for more information 🌿

Pure Beginnings is currently in need of more baby essentials to continue supporting families in our community. We are especially looking for:

• Diapers sizes 5 and 6
• Baby boy clothes in sizes 0–3 months, 6–9 months, 12 months, and 24 months
• Baby girl clothes in sizes 6–9 months and 18–24 months
• Baby bottles
• Breast pumps
• Formula

Any donations are greatly appreciated and help us continue providing resources and support to mothers and babies in need. Thank you for supporting Pure Beginnings and helping us make a difference in the community.
