🌟 Therapist Spotlight: Meet Ryan! 🌟

We're excited to introduce Ryan, one of our Occupational Therapists serving the Haines community!

Ryan has been married to his wife for 20 years and is the proud dad of a teenage son and daughter. When he's not working with clients, you'll most likely find him outdoors enjoying everything Southeast Alaska has to offer. Whether he's subsistence hunting and fishing for salmon, halibut, and moose, hiking local trails, or traveling with his family, Ryan loves staying connected to nature and adventure.

He also enjoys carpentry, cooking, and lifelong learning, always looking for new skills and experiences. At home, he's kept company by both a dog and a cat, making life just a little more fun.

Ryan brings the same curiosity, patience, and dedication to his work that he brings to his hobbies. We're grateful to have him serving individuals and families in Haines and helping our community thrive.

We're excited to partner with REACH Inc. Infant Learning Program to bring families a FREE Potty Learning Class led by our therapist Alli Donaldson, OTR/L, CSOT, PCES, Pediatric Pelvic Floor Occupational Therapist at Therapeutic Health & Home.

Whether you're just starting the potty learning journey, feeling stuck, or simply want to learn the latest evidence-based strategies, this class is for you!

• Common myths and misconceptions
• Signs your child is ready
• Practical strategies for success
• Red flags that may warrant additional support

Happy Solstice! 🌞

Here’s a fun, easy, and free activity to do with your kiddos today! This week in therapy we made dandelion crowns on the trampoline in OT. Fine motor skills, learning something new, and following directions, all while getting some wiggles out in the sun. It checks all our boxes.

Bonus points if you make one for yourself, too!
