Mobility Monday:

Modified Pigeon Stretch 🔥

The modified pigeon stretch uses a bench for added support, allowing you to relax into the position and gradually sink deeper into the hip stretch based on your individual range of motion (ROM). This variation helps target the glutes and external hip rotators while allowing you to control the depth and intensity of the stretch.

Mobility Monday:

Seated Torso Rotations with a Lean 🔥

This exercise is designed to improve thoracic spine mobility, rotational range of motion, and control through the upper body. By stabilizing the hips and lower body, this exercise encourages rotation through the thoracic spine while incorporating lateral flexion.

The added lean challenges your ability to move through multiple planes of motion, helping improve mobility needed for everyday activities, athletic performance, and exercises that require trunk rotation. Focus on maintaining a stable lower body, moving with control, and working within a comfortable range of motion.

The goal: Improve rotational mobility and movement control without compensating through the hips or lower back.
