Breaking the Isolation: 14 Caregivers Share Their Stories.

We discuss a book featuring 14 caregivers sharing their personal stories of caregiving. The author was inspired to write it after caring for their mother with dementia and realizing how unprepared they felt. Through volunteering with AARP and working with caregivers over five years, they learned that the most important message is letting caregivers know they're not alone and that it's okay to ask for help. We also talk about the value of support groups in caregiving communities.
