We started off the week with “Memorable Monday,” and we took a fun trip through the decades!

From the classic style of the ’50s to the groovy ’60s, rockin’ ’70s, and fun ’80s, our team showed up ready to celebrate with all the vintage vibes.

As we celebrate 80 years of Hale Makua, we’re looking back at where it all began.

This photo, believed to be from the early 1960s, shows the former Malulani Hospital. In 1953, the hospital was given to Hale Makua to help meet Maui’s growing need for care.

80 years later, we’re still here for Maui. It has been our privilege to care for generations of Maui families, and we’re grateful to everyone who has been part of our story.
