We’re so grateful for the partnership of St. Jude's Episcopal Church their collab helped to make our Ocean View mobile health clinic a reality, and it’s a privilege to work alongside them in care for our community!

St. Jude’s Episcopal Church in Ocean View provides essential community services, from hot meals and showers to medical care, and steps up support following Hurricane Lala.

Na'alehu: Come see us at our Mobile Health Clinic - now stationed at our Ka'u Family Health & Dental location!

We'll be providing limited services such as medical and behavioral health care, prescription services, referrals, and assistance with reestablishing care.

Our team will be on site Monday-Friday from 9am-3pm. Days/Hours are subject to unexpected changes as we navigate staffing, services, construction and recovery efforts in the area.

While our Nā‘ālehu health center remains closed due to significant flood damage from Hurricane Lala, our mobile clinic will now be stationed in the parking lot of our Ka'u Family Health & Dental Health Center to ensure our community can continue to access care close to home.

Mahalo nui to everyone in the community that helped us towards this massive step to reestablish care at our health center again. Our services will be limited and staffing/service hours will be subject to change as we navigate next steps forward for recovery.

We will be operating Monday-Friday from 9am-3pm. Providing Medical and Behavioral Health care, Access to prescription services, Referrals to resources, and assistance in reestablishing your care.

Recovery will take time, but we’ll be here: showing up, finding a way forward, and standing with Kaʻū every step of the way.

Huge Mahalo to our partners at St. Jude's Episcopal Church in Ocean View for their quick response and advocacy for the community.

After the impact of Hurricane Lala our church partners were quick to connect and problem solve, helping to ensure we could return and expand our hours to meet community needs.

HUGE MAHALO to our partners at The Food Basket for making a massive donation of MREs (Meals, Ready to Eat). These shelf stable, balanced meals can help to feed you and your ‘ohana in the event of a crisis.

We received 10 pallets of MREs, totaling to 4,800 meals that we will be distributing to our locations across the island - having items like MREs stocked in your pantry is essential in ensuring that you are prepared for future storms or unexpected emergencies.

Mahalo to our partners at the Kona Kohala Chamber of Commerce for helping with our Hurricane Lala response!

Chamber members are contributing items for our mobile health outreach efforts in Na'alehu and Ocean View, and we have already been able to give out water, food, hygiene supplies, and cleaning supplies to our patients and community.

The chamber is still accepting donations at their office!

Check out this FREE Kupuna Resource Fair in Volcano Village this weekend!

This is a great opportunity to get connected with local programs and resources that support our kupuna. Our team will be available to share our services and get you and your 'ohana connected with resources to assist in healthy aging and life-long wellness.

Our partners from Community First will also be offering an Advanced Health Care Directive Workshop to guide you in making a healthcare plan that gives you and your loved ones peace of mind.

Mahalo Nui to the County of Hawaiʻi, Merrick Nishimoto, Deputy Managing Director, and the Mayor’s office and Isemoto Contracting - who helped clear the deep mud from our Nā‘ālehu health center property following the devastating flooding from Hurricane Lala.

Our parking lot and grounds were buried under deep mud and debris, and clearing the site was an important first step toward recovery and toward safely bringing care back to our community.

There is still significant work ahead, but progress like this is only possible because of partners who step up when our community needs them most.
