🚨News Alert: Kennard Hinano Boyd Kekona, 58, of Honolulu, Hawaii, was sentenced to 10 years in federal prison for his role in a drug trafficking conspiracy involving m**hamphetamine, fentanyl, and carfentanil. Carfentanil is used as a tranquilizing agent for elephants and other large mammals, and is approximately 100 times more potent than fentanyl, which can be lethal at the 2-milligram range.

Kekona is one of eleven defendants tied to a trans Pacific drug network. The investigation seized more than 150 lbs. of m**h, multiple kilos of fentanyl and carfentanil, fi****ms, am******on, and over $150,000 in cash. He is the seventh defendant to be sentenced.
