KHA Weekend Recap ✈️ Dr. Kristina + Nala Cowan || Big Island Skin Care Specialist are back from the Cynosure Lutronic Academy, hosted in Coronado, San Diego.
This weekend gave us the opportunity to learn directly from leaders in laser technology, deepen our understanding of advanced treatment protocols, and get a closer look at what’s next in laser-based aesthetics.
A major focus for us was bringing that knowledge back to the patients we treat every day — including deeper insight into the diverse skin types we see here in Hawaiʻi, common concerns like pigmentation and signs of aging, and how different technologies and treatment approaches can be used safely and effectively across skin types.
We also got a firsthand look at some of the newest technology shaping the future of aesthetics — and yes, we found a few things we’re very excited to bring home. 👀
That includes technology that takes tattoo removal beyond what we currently offer, expanding our ability to address one of our most-requested treatments, along with leading-edge technology focused on skin regeneration, tightening, and overall skin quality.
For us, aesthetics has never been about chasing trends. It’s about investing in technology and education that align with our longevity approach — supporting healthier skin, thoughtful regeneration, and results that make sense for the individual.
