Today I am celebrating 3 years of open doors at Headstrong Physical Therapy (February 21, 2023)!

😭 I am so honored by my patients' trust in choosing me as their physical therapist.

🙏 I am so thankful to anyone who has sat knee to knee with me over coffee to talk business, life, and learn how to seek balance in all things.

❤️ To my biggest supporters: my husband, my family, to my absolute bestie , my incredible friends, and the whole Barkada crew!

Thanks to the support of all of you, I have been able to remain steadfast to my core values providing excellent care through personalized, evidence-based, meaningful neurological and sport rehabilitation, on a mission to be accessible to all.

Onwards and upwards!

I founded my clinic upon steadfast core values; healthcare is a right to which everyone deserves safe access.

I stand with the people of Minnesota and their resistance to an overreaching federal government infringing on the rights of all our communities.

While I don't want to deny my patients care they need, I will be making a donation equivalent to my expected insurance reimbursement for patients I see today to the Michigan Immigrant Rights Center.

I love my patients; they inspire me every single day. One wrote "you are strong!" on my whiteboard during a session, and it's affected me deeply!

I think everyone needs to not only hear, but SEE 👀 this proclamation--in warm, bright, and somewhat obnoxious neon orange!!!! An unwavering glowing reminder that they GOT this!

I hope these words inspire all of my patients just a little bit more every time they come to Headstrong Physical Therapy. Personally I can't help but smile everytime I see it!!!!

Meet Spooky Skellington, the new bouncer at Headstrong Physical Therapy! 🥳 The poor guy was born with a lumbar disc herniation but lucky for him, most disc herniations heal entirely on their own!

My PT mentor Kim Hardin hauling over a life-sized skeleton to explain some of my pain as a young powerlifter is a core memory of mine; I am delighted to now help my more visual learners understand more about their bodies with the help of Mr. Skellington.

🤓 The evidence is CLEAR. High intensity training after a stroke is not only SAFE, but hastens neuroplasticity to improve function, and can PREVENT FUTURE STROKES.

‼️ Because you are more likely to have a stroke if you've had one in the past.
