Did you know? Skilled nursing facilities and nursing homes are not quite the same.

Skilled nursing provides physician-directed medical care and rehabilitation after an illness, injury, or surgery. Nursing homes primarily provide ongoing help with daily living.

Skilled nursing stays are often short-term and recovery-focused (though can be ongoing to treat chronic conditions,) while nursing home care is usually long-term.

💬 About Me:
I began my healthcare career in 2013 as a CNA. I later attended Stayer University and Western Michigan University. In 2023, I joined Medilodge of Kalamazoo as Business Office Manager/Human Resources, and in 2024 I became Administrator.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family. I am also a strong advocate for Chiari Malformation awareness and Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) awareness.

We are proud to have such a dedicated and compassionate leader on our team! 💜
