A lot of people think they have to stop all laser treatments the second summer hits.

But people in places like California and Florida get laser treatments year round. So it’s not really as simple as “summer = no laser.”

What matters more is things like how much sun you’ve had recently, whether you’re tanning, how consistent you are with SPF, and what your skin looks like at the time of treatment.

There are definitely times where we’ll tell someone to wait. There are other times where treatment is completely fine and we just adjust things appropriately.

That’s why consultations matter so much and why laser treatments should be based on your skin, not just the season.

When I have a patient who has lost a significant amount of weight, one of the biggest concerns I hear is:
